PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf cart which allows the selection of a drive source and highly maneuverable energy saving operation with a simple mechanism in a hybrid type golf cart. SOLUTION: Component members of the golf cart are carried on a body 1 (main frame). A motor controller 13 supplied with power from a battery 12 drives a motor 10 by a specified program and a driving power drives front wheels 2 through a gear box 14. An engine 11 using gasoline as fuel is rotated according to the operation input of an axle, the driving power of the engine 11 drives the rear wheels 3 through a gear box 16, and hence, the front wheels 2 and the rear wheels 3 make up drive parts longitudinally independent of each other. The operation mode of the golf cart is roughly divided into three of (1) an uphill, (2) a flat ground and (3) downhill in terms of states of a running path. In the drive operation of the golf cart for each of the states of the running path, the front wheel drive motor and the rear wheel drive engine are selected respectively under the drive condition at the start and the drive condition during the running to be operated or controlled. |
