PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a CTLA4 receptor gene, to identify interaction between the receptor and a cell expressing a B7 antigen, and to provide a method for regulating the interaction of cells comprising the CTLA4 receptor. SOLUTION: This monoclonal antibody is capable of binding to an extracellular domain of the CTLA4 represented by a sequence No.4 (see the specification) and inhibiting the binding of the CTLA4 to the B7 antigen. |
