<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a multipiece solid golf ball which allows the manufacture of a two-layer core having a small and uniform thickness of an outer layer with high productivity and has excellent repulsion performance. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the multipiece solid golf ball consisting of the core (4) composed of the inner layer core (1) and the outer layer core (2) and >=1 layer of covers (3) for covering this core and includes (a) a process step of forming the spherical inner layer core (1), (b) a process step of forming the core (4) having a two-layered structure by molding, dividedly twice, a rubber composition for the outer layer containing base material rubber containing >=50 wt.% liquid polybutadiene so as to cover the half of the surface of the inner layer core (1) by using metal molds for molding the core having a spherical cavity and a process step of covering the top of the core with the cover (3).</p> |
