<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head superior in improving the flight directionality, stability, and carried of golf balls and excellent in operability. SOLUTION: The side surface 2 of the golf club head partially varies in thickness. To be concrete, the side surface 2 comprises thick wall parts thicker than the other part in the range (X-range) of an angle of 90 deg. behind a connecting part P1 on the side of the toe between a face surface 1 and the side surface 2 with the center G of the plane figure from the direction of a crown surface 3 as a center and the range (Y-range) of an angle of 900 behind a connecting part P2 on the side of the shaft between the face surface 1 and the side surface 2. Each wall thickness of the thick wall parts is set at approximately 1.2-5.0 mm, and the wall thickness of the other part of the side surface 2 is set at approximately 0.6-1.5 mm.</p> |
