PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a cosmetic container with a push rod in the main body and a detachable cartridge on the front end of the container main body to push out/in a stick cosmetic in the cartridge by rotating the container main body and the cartridge. SOLUTION: This cartridge type stick cosmetic push-out container 1 has a female screw in the container main body 4 and is equipped with a push rod 30 with a male screw matching the female screw. A rotation stopper member 50 which the rod shaft 35 of the push rod 30 can non-circularly penetrate through and fit in with play. The rotation stopper member 50 and the cartridge 2 are spline-engaged to complete a rotation stop mechanism to enable push-out of the push rod 30 when the cartridge 2 is fit in the container main body. When the push rod 30 is pushed to a position except the retreat limit, the push rod 30 is enabled to be pushed back to the retreat direction without projecting the stick type cosmetic by repulsion of a drawing spring 3 at the rear end side of a core chuck member 20 in the cartridge 2.
