PURPOSE: An accumulator structure of a compressor is provided to reduce the flow resistance of refrigerant as well as to minimize liquid refrigerant sucked into a compression space of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION: In accumulator structure, a body(30) is formed with a specific inner space. A connecting pipe(40) is connected with an evaporator. The body includes a cylindrical part(31), an upper open connecting part(32) and a lower open connecting part(33) extended to both sides of the cylindrical part. A side of the connecting pipe is connected with the evaporator while the other side is inserted into the upper open connecting part of the body. An intake pipe(50) has plural gas holes(51). An opened side of the intake pipe is connected to a hermetic shell to be communicated with a compression space of a cylinder, and a closed side is inserted into the lower open connecting part. A part of the intake pipe in the body is positioned in the same direction as the connecting pipe, and the gas holes are arranged in a vertical direction to lengthwise of the intake pipe. A filter(60) is inserted into the intake pipe. Refrigerant flows into the compression chamber of the cylinder through the intake pipe via the filter. Thereby, the minimum amount of liquid cylinder flows into the compression chamber.
