OPERATING SYSTEM FOR INTERWORKING USER AUTHENTIFICATION METHOD WITH AUXILIARY MEMORY AND SETTLEMENT METHOD OF CYBER MONEY AND CREDIT CARD

PURPOSE: An operating system is provided to perform a payment using a card and to certify a member using a user ID/password inputting process and an auxiliary memory being installed in a personal computer after connecting to a web site through a communication network(TCP/IP). CONSTITUTION: After a user(ST101) connects(ST102) to a web site through a web communication network, the user inputs a user ID and password(ST103), and connects a commercial transaction shopping mall in the web site(ST105), and selects(ST106) a wanted commodity. The user selects(ST107) a paying method for a commodity to be bought. If the user selects(ST108) a cyber money payment, a coded user certifying member card issued in the web site is read(ST109) using an auxiliary memory being installed in a user's personal computer. If the certifying process is decided as a normal state, the balance of cyber money is detected for paying a price of the selected commodity and a delivery process. After the corresponding cyber money is paid, a result value is outputted in the user's personal computer.
