PURPOSE: A method for informing a registration content of a bulletin board using a character message service is provided to instantly inform a content of a bulletin board to a user's cellular phone by abstracting the content into a character data and using an SMS(Short Message Service) when a new content is registered in a bulletin board or a response with respect to the user's content is registered. CONSTITUTION: A registered client is connected with a home page of a bulletin board server(S100). In the case that the connected registered client is a registered user(S200), the user is connected with a bulletin board provided in the bulletin board server, and in the case that the connected registered client is a new user, a new member information is registered, and the client is connected with the bulletin board(S300). After the connection is implemented, the data is written based on the kinds of the data which will be registered in the bulletin board(S400, S500). The content of the data written in the bulletin board is abstracted into a character message having a certain size for thereby being received to a cellular phone and then is stored in the bulletin board DB(S600). When a transmission of the abstracted character message is requested(S700), the requested character message is transmitted to the cellular phone through an SMS server(S800).
