PURPOSE: To provide a dual mode band pass filter that can be downsized and has an excellent degree of design freedom. CONSTITUTION: The dual mode band pass filter 1 has a rectangular ring shaped metallic film 3 formed on one side or in the inside of a dielectric substrate 2, a couple of input/output coupling circuits 5, 6 is coupled with the rectangular ring shaped metallic film 3 and the plane shape and the line width of the rectangular ring shaped metallic film 3 are configured to couple two generated resonance modes.
