<p>A liquid crystal layer (14), a polarization selecting layer (24), and a fluorescence layer (22) are formed in this order in a path of pumping light. The polarization selecting layer (24) may be a cholesteric liquid crystal layer or an alternate multilayer structure including a layer having at least one anisotropy. A liquid crystal panel in which a polarization selecting layer and a fluorescence layer are formed may be used.</p> |
