The body component is a compact, stable unit, completely enclosing the passenger cell, with outer (4) and inner skin (5), which are partially at a distance to each other. A stiffening support structure (6) and distance elements (7) are positioned between the skins, and structure, elements and skins are connected via an adhesive hardening binding agent (8). The component is further stiffened by several shells located between outer and inner skin, and/or on either skin, and/or the support structure may have additional stiffener elements of limited size.
