<p>RNA probes specific to a number of genes can be simultaneously constructed in a short period of time without resort to the step of DNA cloning by a novel method of constructing RNA probes which comprises a series of steps, i.e., (1) the step of effecting a polymerase chain reaction or reverse transcription and a polymerase chain reaction with the use of a polynucleotide originating in an individual tissue or cells to thereby synthesize double-stranded DNAs specific to target genes; and (2) the step of synthesizing RNAs in vitro by using the DNAs synthesized in the above (1) as probes to thereby give RNA probes specific to the target genes.</p> |
