<p>A security clutch (100) for a jewelry post (102) includes a housing (110) defining a post receiving aperture (118) extending therethrough and an access port (120). A trigger lock member (124) is disposed in said housing (110) and includes a main body (125) with an aperture therethrough defining a central post locking notch (140). A biasing member (142) is connected to one end of the main body (125) and a trigger portion (126) is connected to opposing end to extend through the access port (120) in the housing (110) for manipulation from outside said housingt (110). When the trigger (126) is depressed against the biasing force of the biasing member (124), the main body (125) is moved from a resting locked position to an unlocked position with the post locking notch (140) being clear of the post receiving aperture (118).</p> |
