<p>A method of culturing zooplankton in which a solid serving as a feed for zooplankton is left in the culture medium and the accumulation of substances inhibiting zooplankton multiplication and the growth of bacteria are prevented in the culture medium. The method involves the step of removing substances inhibiting multiplication of the zooplankton and/or water-soluble substances serving as nutrients for bacteria from a culture medium containing the zooplankton with perfusion by means of a solid/liquid separation membrane. By the culturing method, a culture for use as a feed for fishes or crustaceans which contains lively zooplankton in a number of at least 50,000 per ml can be produced.</p> |
