Production of injection moldings with cavities and undercut sections from thermoplastics, comprises: (a) injection molding a blank in a first mold with a cavity which is open on one side, allowing it to be withdrawn for the mold, and an undercut section; and (b) placing the blank in a second mold, inserting a slide into the cavity and molding a section which closes the cavity. Production of injection moldings (1) with cavities and undercut sections from thermoplastics, comprises: (a) injection molding a blank (1') in a first mold (30a, 30b) which contains a cavity which is open on one side, allowing it to be withdrawn for the mold, and an undercut section (20) in the cavity; and (b) placing the blank in a second mold (50a, 50b), inserting a slide (60) into the cavity and molding a section (3) which closes the open side of the cavity. Independent claims are included for: (a) a similar process in which the cavity ends in a cylindrical channel, into which the slide is inserted; and (b) a similar process in which a slide is used with a pivoting clip which covers the undercut section during the second stage.
