PURPOSE: An opening/closing device of a cover in a freight vehicle is provided to reduce a load by reducing a rotating radius of the cover, to easily fold by installing a spring and an air cylinder and to prevent the falling of freight by forming a rubber end of a cargo box. CONSTITUTION: A reducing motor(1) is controlled remotely. A rotating shaft(2) is connected with the reducing motor and installed in the side of a cargo box. A fixing member(3) of the rotating shaft fixes the rotating shaft. A fixing member of a wire(4) is stuck to the end of the wire by forming under the fixing member of the rotating shaft. A protecting ring(6) of the rotating shaft is installed on the fixing member of the rotating shaft. A first cover support(8) is connected with the rotating shaft by another protecting ring and installed in a folding rod(11) by a protecting ring of the folding rod. The first cover support supports a first cover portion. A fixing member of an air cylinder(9) is formed in the first cover support and fixed the end of the air cylinder. A combining member(12) of the wire and the air cylinder fixes the wire and the air cylinder together by forming in the folding rod. The first cover portion comprises the air cylinder to be stuck to the combining member and formed in the first cover support. The twisting coil spring(13) is welded its fixing shaft by the first cover support and welded its moving shaft by a second cover support(15). The folding rod contains the twisting coil spring and located between the first cover portion and a second cover portion. The second cover support supports a second cover supporting rod(14). Rubber plates(16) are formed behind the second cover supporting rod and supported in a rubber plate support(17) by bolts and nuts. Thereby, safety accidents are prevented, noise is reduced and the falling of freight is prevented.
