FUNCTIONAL POWDER AND COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A functional powder and a cosmetic composition containing the same are provided, thereby improving skin adhesion and color, and maintaining makeup. CONSTITUTION: The functional powder is produced by coating the functional powder with alkyl modified silicone and olive derivatives, wherein the functional powder is selected from talc, mica, sericite, water-containing silicate magnesium, polymethylmethacrylate, nylon and silica and has average particle size of 7 to 10 micrometer and oil absorption of 30 ml/100g; the alkyl modified silicone has at least one methyl group substituted by C6 to C45 alkyl and is selected from stearoxy and stearyl dimethicone; and the olive derivatives are esterified vegetable olive derivative and has a melting point of 20 to 60 deg.C and a molecular weight of 500 to 800.
