PURPOSE: A soundproof wall is provided to reduce a cost by easily constructing and maintaining and to maximize the soundproof effect by applying the whole area of the soundproof wall. CONSTITUTION: A soundproof wall contains a pair of H beams(1) buried around a sound generating source; plural sound absorbing plates(10) layered sequentially by supporting in front of the H beams(1); plural sound shielding plates(20) layered by supporting in the back of the H beams(1); a fixing member(30) to fix the sound absorbing plates(10) and the sound shielding plates(20); and a sound absorbing material(40) filled in spaces between the sound absorbing plates and the sound shielding plates. Thereby, the soundproof wall is constructed simply.
