<p>The invention concerns a housing (2) for an electrical household cooking appliance (1) comprising a handgrip zone (8) elongated along a longitudinal axis (25), and a control button (11) designed to co-operate with a switch (15), the control button including an actuating surface (18) and being mounted pivoting along a rocking pin (12) arranged transversely relative to the longitudinal axis of the handgrip zone, the actuating surface (18) extending longitudinally on the housing (2) from the handgrip zone (8) towards the longitudinal axis (25). The invention is characterised in that the actuating surface (18) comprises a first actuating zone (22) designed for the thumb, longitudinally followed by a second actuating zone (23) designed for the forefinger and/or the middle finger, the second actuating zone (23) being longitudinally followed by the handgrip zone (8).</p> |
