The separator for ball bearings comprises a tube (14), through which the balls fall, and a locking plate (17) which supports the column of balls (15). When the plate is slid sideways a ball is dispensed. A spring loaded pin (20, 22, 23) retains the remaining balls. An Independent claim is included for a dispenser for ball bearings including the separator.
