METHOD FOR PROCESSING DIGITAL CONTENTS BY USING BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION, AND SYSTEM THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A method for processing digital contents by using biological information and a system therefor are provided so that only a user having the biological information combined with the digital contents can read the digital contents even when the digital contents are illegally copied and distributed, by combining the digital contents and the biological information. CONSTITUTION: A user accesses a web site of a server system for providing digital contents by using his/her terminal(310). The web site includes a list of the digital contents which the server system can provide, and the user selects wanted digital contents of the list(320). The user selecting the digital contents should input his/her biological information. Thus, the user inputs his/her biological information such as fingerprints through a biological information recognition device of the terminal, and transmits the input information to the server system(330). A contents encoding server of the server system receives the digital contents from a contents database, and performs an encoding operation for combining the digital contents and biological information, so that the digital contents can be executed according to input of the same biological information(340). A web server of the server system transmits the encoded information to the user(350).
