The method involves supplying cool fluid and warmed fluid to a treatment head or supplying heated cleaning solution to a shower head (20) and sucking away the fluid, together with sweat or other bodily fluids, into the treatment head or the shower head using air supply. The fluid to be heated is pumped from a supply container (5) in a transportable station through a first connector (1) and is controllably heated on its path through an inner supply line (24) until shortly before the shower head. The fluid and air mixture after the skin treatment is separated in a liquid separator (10) connected to a suction pump (14). The air is returned to the atmosphere and the fluid is disposed using a disposal pump (15) and a disposal hose (5). The circuit, comprising the supply pump (8), heater (13), inner supply line, heated and unheated connections in the system hose, and the shower head and hose connectors, is thermally disinfected at predetermined intervals, once the supply of liquid is completed. Independent claims are included for a cleaning station and for a shower head to clean and treat skin surfaces and body openings using the cleaning station.
