PURPOSE: A cleaning method of underwater trash and its device are provided to purify the water quality of rivers, lakes and seas by simply and effectively cleaning various trash. CONSTITUTION: A cleaning device of underwater trash comprises a discharging pipe(1) having an opening and closing valve(13) arranged its inlet(11) upward a dam(100) and its outlet(12) toward the outside of the dam; an opening and closing door(2) to open and close the inlet(11); a transferring mesh(3) formed in the outlet(12) and to transfer trash from a conveyer to a vehicle; a draining tank formed under the transferring mesh and to drain water toward the dam through a transferring pipe; and a controller to control the operations of the opening and closing door and the opening and closing valve. Thereby, the water pollution is prevented.
