The invention concerns an idle pinion (100) for a gearbox comprising two parts (101, 102) fixed to each other, whereof a first part (101) consisting of a wheel with an axial passage (103) and outer gear teeth (104) designed to mesh with gear teeth of another shaft of the box, and a second part (102) consisting of a hub with a cylindrical section (117) engaged in the axial passage (103) of the first part (101), a conical synchronising section (114), an annular projecting section (115) forming a stop for the first part and supporting jaw clutching teeth (116). The invention is characterised in that the cylindrical section (117) is delimited on the annular section side by an annular groove (120) designed to receive a closed brazing bead (119) and has fine longitudinal threads (117a) parallel to the axis of rotation of the pinion the latter forming a network of capillary conduits channelling the liquid brazing metal. |
