<p>A protective agent for protecting a printed matter printed on a printing medium such as an optical disk, comprising a non-aqueous polymer emulsion solution that uses a high-volatility organic solvent as a dispersion medium and synthetic-resin fine particles as a dispersoid. This protective agent is sprayed over a printed matter printed on a printing medium by a spray method and then is dried. For example, a first oily print layer (2) is provided on the surface of an information recording element (1), a second oily print layer (3) is provided on at least part of the top surface of the first print layer (2), and the above protective agent is applied onto the top surface of the second print layer (3) and dried to form a protection layer (4), thereby preventing a printed matter from coming off even by hand rubbing or deposited water and a base material from being adversely affected because of a very quick drying performance of the protective agent.</p> |
