<p>Disclosed is a luggage transportation system and method using electric railways. The luggage transportation system that uses a first luggage transporter moving between base stations and a second luggage transporter moving between the base station and individual stations to transport the luggage, comprises an input unit for inputting information on a destination station and a recipient; a memory for storing information on the electric railway lines; a transportation route producer for producing the transportation route according to the electric railway lines stored in the memory; and a transportation time producer for producing the transportation time corresponding to the transportation route. Accordingly, the present invention enables to quickly transport the luggage to the destination station via complex electrical railways and subway routes in a metropolis by understanding the structures of the current routes, defining roles of the individual stations and driving the luggage transporters.</p> |
