In a process to manufacture soap incorporating a pattern through the entire body of the soap, a pattern is embedded in the soap penetrating both sides and created by separate striated discharge of molten soap into inner and outer parts of a mould. In the manufacturing process molten soap is introduced via a main tube and a secondary tube to a form. A flow guide baffle is incorporated into the base of the secondary tube. A supply tube discharges molten soap to the main tube. The secondary tube molten soap flows initially through the form at the base of the flow-dividing form and is pressed, creating a striated discharge. Soap is then discharged from the main tube to the outer section of the flow-dividing form, surrounding the patterned zone. Soap is then expelled from the mixer tube forming-form in a striated condition. The soap is then cut to the desired thickness.
