A pair of electromagnets (11,13) are connected serially. One end of the electromagnets are connected to a power terminal through a transistor (53) and the other ends of the magnets are grounded through respective transistors (51A,51B). For opening the valve, the transistors (51A,53) are switched ON and current is supplied to electromagnet (11). For closing the valve, transistors (51B,53) are turned ON and current is supplied to electromagnet (13).
