A system comprising a color painting system, a communication network and a paint manufacturing data management system. A paint manufacturer and a color painter exchange information necessary for paint manufacture on, e. g., an object to be painted, painting conditions, a paint, and a color through a communication network by the color painting system and the paint manufacturing data management system, thereby to manufacture a color paint matching with the image of the color concept proposed by the color painter.
