An EL sheet which are used as a back light or the like for an operating part of any of various kinds of electronic apparatuses, and a switch which provides a favorable and stable snap-action feeling during operation and is easy to work. In the vicinity of a bent part of the root outer periphery of a diaphragm part formed is no El element layer but only a conductive pattern connected to the light-transmitting electrode layer and the back electrode layer. An insulating film substrate can be exposed with nothing formed there.
