<p>A suspension mechanism, comprising a supporting member (2) connected to a body (11), a vertical member (3) rotatably supporting a wheel (12) at the lower end part of the vertical member (3), a cylindrical elastic body (4) fixed to the upper end part of the vertical member (3), and a horizontal supporting shaft (5) fixedly fitted to the cylindrical interior of the elastic body (4), wherein the horizontal supporting shaft (5) is fixed to the supporting member (2), the elastic body (4) is fixed to the upper end part of the vertical member (3), the vertical member (3) is moved swingably about the horizontal supporting shaft (5), and the elastic body (4) supports the vertical member (3) vertically and also provides the vertical member (3) with an elastic force to give a restoring force to the swing motion of the vertical member (3).</p> |
