INTEGRATED RECEPTION/PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR CARD LOSS REPORTS AND REISSUANCE USING INTERNET AND PORTABLE PHONES

PURPOSE: An integrated reception/processing system for card loss reports and reissuance using the Internet and portable phones is provided to process all the loss reports for many cards at a time as a user uses a loss report abbreviated key or selects a loss report service through his portable terminal, selects lost cards, and inputs and transmits his personal information. CONSTITUTION: If a user selects a loss report service on the menu window of the monitor of his portable terminal(S101), an embedded lost card service program is activated(S102). The user selects lost cards among various card names displayed on the terminal monitor(S103) and inputs necessary personal information(S104). Then, if the user pushes a confirmation button, an error check is automatically executed(S105). In case that no error is detected through the error check, the selected card names and the inputted personal information are displayed on the monitor(S106). At this moment, the program asks the user whether he wants to input card names and personal information again(S107). In case that the user refuses the reinput request, the program transmits the inputted data to an integrated card loss service company(S108). The integrated card loss service company transmits the data to each associated card company or bank(S109).
