<p>The invention concerns a stake-planting machine consisting of a self-powered chassis (1) with a driver's compartment, a stake-driver (5) located at the front of the chassis, a magazine (20) borne by said chassis arranged longitudinally on the side of the driving compartment and an automatic dispensing device including a system for removing stakes from said magazine and an arrangement for transferring and positioning the removed stake beneath the head (13) of the stake-driver. The stake-driver comprises a device (30) for orienting the stake or post relatively to the planting line when particular stakes made of metal with oval or omega-shaped cross-section are used. The machine can also comprise guide and automatic control means using for example radio-positioning system either by GPS or by ground marker.</p> |
