PURPOSE: A rice polisher, a pre-polished rice producing apparatus, a leveling device, and a pre-polished rice producing facility are provided to produce pre-white rice having a favorable taste by using a small amount of water. CONSTITUTION: The rice polisher(12) comprises a grain-lifting spiral(68) for transporting a white rice above from below; a port for pouring polishing water, the port being disposed at a head portion; a discharge port for discharging the white rice, the discharge port being disposed at the head portion; and a rice-polishing roll(72) for polishing rice by agitating together with the polishing water poured from the port for poring the white rice pressurized by transportation by the grain-lifting spiral. The rice polisher discharges, the white rice that has been polished, from the discharge port. The pre-polished rice producing apparatus(10) comprises the rice polisher, a dehydrating section(14) for dehydrating the white rice discharged from the rice polisher, and a drying section(16) for drying the white rice supplied from the dehydrating section.
