CLUTCH MECHANISM OF WASHING MACHINE

PURPOSE: A clutch mechanism of a washing machine is provided to accurately transmit the driving power of a motor to a pulsator and a washing tub by accurately engaging a clutch. CONSTITUTION: A clutch mechanism includes: an upper clutch(131) installed on a drive shaft(124) to be in contact with a gear housing(121); a spring member installed on the drive shaft to cover the upper clutch; a lower clutch(137) installed on the upper face of a driven pulley(107) bolt-combined to the lower face of the drive shaft; a clutch slider(134) sliding toward the lower clutch and combining the upper clutch with the lower clutch; and a lever(140) having an L-shaped operating arm(142). Herein, the clutches are engaged accurately regardless of the deformation of the driven pulley. Therefore, the driving power of a motor is accurately transmitted to a pulsator and a washing tub.
