SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING INTERACTIVE WRITING FUNCTION ON WEB PAGE OF INTERNET EXPLORER OF MICROSOFT

PURPOSE: A system for supporting the interactive writing function on the web page of the Internet explorer of Microsoft is provided for a user to draw and write freely the desired contents on the web page. CONSTITUTION: All events occurred on a web page area are extracted by an event extractor(8) and mouse events necessary to the writing function are processed by an event analyzer(9). All mouse events are like the following: a WM_LBUTTONDOWN message occurred when a left button is pressed; a WM_LBUTTONUP message occurred when the left button is left; a WM_MOUSEMOVE message occurred when the mouse is moved; a scroll event(1,6) occurred when the web page area is scrolled. Those mouse events are processed according to the writing function and an event sender(10) delivers the mouse events to the IE(Internet Explorer) of the other machine through a network module(12) in request. Also, the event, which is occurred by the other machine, is delivered to an event receiver(11) again and processed by a local machine.
