PURPOSE: A method and a system for transmitting medical photographic files using the Internet are provided to simplify the readout of medical photographs by a specialist by transmitting the medical photographs to a hospital with corresponding specialists, and to reduce economical loss by excluding separate and expensive transmission/conversion equipment. CONSTITUTION: First, related information or lists for selecting member registration information are displayed on a computer monitor through a server. Then, it is confirmed whether a list of special hospitals is selected by a mouse. Next, member ID and password are input if selected. Then, it is confirmed whether the input ID and password agree with those of a member registered in a membership DB. Next, a new member registration step is performed if not, or information of a hospital to be requested to readout the medical photographs are displayed as text or image if agreed. Then, the hospital confirms the request of the readout of the photographs, which are then transmitted to a server. Next, the transmitted image files are stored in a DB, and then the opinion of the hospital against the photographs are transmitted to a server and the corresponding member.
