PURPOSE: A steel air cleaner for a vehicle is provided to reduce the noise due to vibration by reducing the length of a main bracket and to improve the power performance of a vehicle by increasing the capacity of an air cleaner. CONSTITUTION: An opening(1b) is formed over the half of a cylindrical case(1), and a resonance chamber(8) made with the same material as the case and extended horizontally is installed. A main bracket(5) is fixed on the end portion of the resonance chamber, and two auxiliary brackets(6,7) are fixed on both outsides of the case. The length of the main bracket is reduced as long as the resonance chamber. According to the resonance chamber having a structure consisting of plural panels, the fixing strength is increased. Vibration of the main bracket is reduced by the reduced length, and noise is reduced. The resonance chamber enlarges the volume of the case, and the capacity of an air cleaner is increased.
