PURPOSE: A vending machine is provided to effectively reduce the capacity of an adjustment card used to record and save the transaction data of an electronic cash type vending machine and to encode the transaction data. CONSTITUTION: The vending machine comprises an article display part(20) for showing articles to be sold; an article selection part(30); a transaction data saving device; an adjustment processing part(60); a main controller(10) for generalizing all kinds of actions of the vending machine; a card transaction part(50); and a selling part(40). The adjustment processing part compresses the transactions data according to lossless compression technique, and then records the compressed transactions data to the adjustment card. The card transaction part reads specific data required for the transaction of the electronic cash, and renews and records the information of the balance of the electronic cash by receiving a price information of a selected article from the main controller. |
