PURPOSE: A system and a method for operating one call service using a location tracking unit and abbreviated dialing in a mobile phone are provided so that a user can simply access a service center using an abbreviated dial in his mobile phone, in case that he uses his mobile phone in order to get a taxi, and a taxi driver can rapidly and easily catch the location of the user. CONSTITUTION: A user manipulates an abbreviated dial in his mobile phone(100) and transmits a service request signal and his mobile number to a one call operator server through a mobile telecommunication service provider's server(200,300). The one call operator server, connected with a location tracking service provider, requests the location information of a taxi nearest to the location of the user(400). The one call operator server calculates the distance between the user and the nearest taxi and transmits the arrival of time and the number of the nearest taxi to the user's mobile phone(500). |
