APPARATUS FOR FABRICATING CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for fabricating a cathode ray tube is provided to hold and shift an exhaust tube without using an additional wedge by improving a structure of a clamping portion. CONSTITUTION: A holder(4) is used for holding a bulb(2). A holder receiver(6) is used for supporting the holder(4) in order to maintain stably a position of the bulb(2). The holder receiver(6) includes a fixing member(6a) and a rotary member(6b). The fixing member(6a) is fixed by a support member(8). The rotary member(6b) is rotated by a driving unit(10). The driving unit(10) is installed on the fixing member(6a). The driving unit(10) is combined with the rotary member(6b) through a gear(12). An electron gun(16) is located at the inside of the neck portion(14) of the bulb(2). A stem(18) is installed on the electron gun(16). The stem(18) is practically located at a spindle(22). The spindle(22) is driven by a driving portion(20).
