PURPOSE: A composite fatigue tester of a wire is provided to obtain composite stress like actual conditions of a wire, for testing and analyzing the actual using characteristics of the wire by testing the characteristics of a side of the wire. CONSTITUTION: A tester(1) consists of a frame(11), a fixing unit(12) transferring torsional stress generated by a motor to a wire with fixing the wire, a curve test rod(13) rotating to left/right by the moor, and a support unit(14) used as a point of action of a load applied by a weight(16) connected to a side of the wire. When a wire to be tested is selected, the wire is cut into proper length. An end of the wire is completely put into the bore of a casing of the fixing unit, and a fitting piece is inserted into the casing through the lower part of the casing. The fixed wire is inserted through the bore of the support unit via a curve roller, and a weight corresponding to a load necessary for test is connected to the other end of the wire. Thereby, the wire is tested. The tester tests the moving characteristics of a wire under composite stress conditions like actual using conditions by applying horizontal stress and vertical stress to the wire as well as tests curve fatigue and torsional stress. Thereby, the tester checks all of characteristics of the wire through single test.
