PURPOSE: A method and a system for providing user-centered wireless Internet service are provided to select an initial access server and automatically upgrade the browser of the selected server, thereby enhancing the convenience of the user. CONSTITUTION: A wireless network system(42) provides a wireless communication channel for transmission of voice signals and data to a smart phone(41) with Internet access and usage functions. A browser providing server(47) has a plurality of browsers for a communication service provider or a content provider, transmits a browser selected by the user to the smart phone(41) through the communication channel in accordance with user's requests, and checks the version of the browser to automatically update the version. A large scale proxy server(48) connects a corresponding smart phone to a server of a service provider selected by the user through the browser providing server after transmitting the browser.
