摘要 PURPOSE: A liquid phase oxidation reactor is provided which not only reduces the combustion of reaction solvents to a minimum but also economically manufactures aromatic organic acids by minimizing the effective residence time of a reaction in which oxygen and reactants are actually contacted so that oxidation reaction is progressed. CONSTITUTION: The liquid phase oxidation reactor comprises a reaction container(11) which has a roughly cylindrical shape, and in which a space part having a certain volume is formed; a cover(12) which is coupled to the reaction container(11) at the upper part of the reaction container(11) so as to seal the reaction container(11); a driving shaft(15) which is installed in the reaction container(11) and rotated by driving force of a driving source(16) installed at the outer part of the reaction container(11); upper and lower impellers(17,18) which are fixed onto the driving shaft(15) so that the upper and lower impellers(17,18) are rotated as the driving shaft(15) is being rotated; a liquid phase supply line(19) which is penetrated into the side wall of the reaction container(11) so that liquid phase reaction materials are supplied to the space part inside the reaction container(11); a liquid phase discharging line(21) which is penetrated into the side wall of the reaction container(11) so that products obtained through the reaction are discharged into the outside of the reaction container(11); and a gas injection port(25) which is penetrated into the side wall of the reaction container(11) so that aromatic organic acids are produced by smooth oxidation reaction with the reaction materials, which is adjacently installed to the lower impeller(18), and which is connected to a gas supply line(23) so as to inject oxygen gas or air into the reaction container(11), wherein an exit of the gas injection port(25) faces the lower impeller(18) during high loading while the exit of the gas injection port(25) faces the inner wall of the reaction container(11) during low loading.
