THERMOSTAT VALVE WITH ELECTRICALLY HEATABLE OPERATING MEMBER

PURPOSE: A thermostat valve with electrically heatable operating member is provided not to have an influence on constitution of a housing for installation of a thermostat valve. CONSTITUTION: A thermostat valve for circulation of coolant of an internal combustion engine includes an electrically heatable operating member(10). A housing(11) of the operating member is fixed and an operating piston(12) of the operating member is started from a valve member(13). Restoring springs(24) are disposed to fixed abutments(25) of the valve member. The valve member surrounds the housing like a birdcage. The valve member is equipped with a valve plate shaped-flange. The flange is adhered onto a valve sheet and closed to the opposite side of the housing. The thermostat valve has a base plate(17) equipped with the housing of the operating member and the fixed abutment for the restoring spring. Therefore, the constitution of the housing of the thermostat valve is not affected.
