PURPOSE: A method for supplying information using an E-mail and a system for the method are provided to enable a user to receive various information searched on the Internet through one's E-mail as a fixed formed document and to insert an advertisement related to user selected information into an E-mail and to transmit the E-mail. CONSTITUTION: If a subscriber connects to a main server system and performs a log-in process(601), a web server reads information of the subscriber from a plurality of subscriber information being stored in a subscriber DB and loads the information(603). The web server searches the corresponding contents from a contents DB by responding to a requesting signal and a search signal being transmitted from the subscriber and transmits the contents to a subscriber terminal as a web page form(605). If the subscriber clicks an E-mail transmitting menu and an E-mail transmitting requesting signal is inputted to the main server system(607), the web server reads contents requested by the subscriber from the contents DB(609), and judges the kind of the read contents(611). An advertisement data the same as the kind of the judged contents are searched from an advertisement DB(613). The web server inserts the read contents into a predetermined position(615) and converts the contents into a fixed document form and supplies the contents to a mail server with the loaded subscriber information. The mail server transmits the transmitted contents and advertisement data to the E-mail of the subscriber(617).
