TIMER CONTROL METHOD BETWEEN DUPLEX PROCESSORS LOADED WITH V 5.2 PROTOCOL STACK

PURPOSE: A timer control method between duplex processors loaded with a V 5.2 protocol stack is provided to prevent a problem of a call service interruption status because the information of a timer driven for call processing between duplex V 5.2 processors are not matched. CONSTITUTION: If an update command of data changed from an active side to a standby side is provided, a signal handler of the standby side searches for a task to which the update command is to be provided in a first process. If the update command is provided to a PSTN task, the signal handler provides the changed data and the update command to the PSTN task in a second process. The PSTN task receives the changed data and searches for an FSM state information of the changed data in a third process. The PSTN task controls an internal timer according to the FSM State in a fourth process.
