The invention relates to an electrical drive unit, specially for windscreen wipers in a motor vehicle, comprising a drive motor with an armature accommodated in a substantially pot-shaped pole box, a substantially pot-shaped gear box fixed to the front face of the pole box to accommodate gear elements which transmit the rotation of the shaft of the armature mounted on the pole box and in the gear box. The inventive device is characterized in that the armature shaft is arranged adjacent to one of the bottoms of pole box in a drive-fit mounted cylinder bearing whose external diameter is larger or three times greater than its length. |
