PURPOSE: A wireless electronic authentication system is provided to improve a locking system for security by using an authentication device for identifying a wireless electronic information key. CONSTITUTION: A transceiver portion(12) transmits/receives wireless data from or to an antenna. A memory portion(14) stored a serial number and a pass word received from the transceiver portion(12) or outputs the stored serial number and the stored pass word to the transceiver portion(12). A portable wireless electronic information key(10) includes the memory portion(14). An authentication device(20) includes a transceiver(22), a controller(24), and a plurality of USB ports(25-27). The transceiver(22) receives wireless signals from the transceiver portion(12), converts the data to the wireless signals, and transmits the wireless signals. The controller(24) calculates input and output signals and outputs control signals. The USB ports(25-27) are used for interfacing the control signals of the controller(24). An interface portion(30) is used for interfacing the authentication device(20). A computer system(40) has a program(44) for comparing and representing data signals from the interface portion(30).
