PURPOSE: An electronic coupon service method is provided to enable a client to be supplied with a coupon directly when applying the coupon via a personal digital assistant without connection with a time and a space. CONSTITUTION: An electronic coupon service method provides a coupon service related to a desired shop using a coupon service server(130), which issues and manages a coupon. The electronic coupon service method comprises endowing a member code after receiving an application of coupon issuing from each shop, inputting a telephone number after receiving a shop code and a coupon type of a shop whose coupon is required by a client, transferring the coupon to a portable telephone(101) of the telephone number, and transferring a message for confirming coupon issuing to a terminal connected with the coupon service server(130).
